ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - The community of Escanaba will soon experience some changes within their city, and is looking for someone to fulfill a vacant position.
Patrick Jordan, who is the City Manager of Escanaba, will be resigning effective December 1. Jordan has been with the city for two years.
According to Mayor Marc Tall, Jordan has received an offer for a position in Florida.
Tall adds the city currently is looking for Jordan’s replacement before he leaves.
"We have started advertising for applicants, and we're hoping to see quite a few resumes in the next few weeks, and the council will decide on how we will proceed,” explained Tall.
Tall wishes Jordan the best as he enters this new chapter in his life.
Tall also encourages interested people to apply to the open position.
