Shiloh Baptist Church is making use of their talented congregation by writing a script, acting, filming and producing a movie. They have been working on "The Price of Freedom" for around four years.

It's the second movie they have made about the Over Mountain Men and their goal is to bring the history of their Baptist forefathers and to life. The film is set during the revolutionary war and shows the journey and struggle several made so we could have freedom.

"We believe it's a story that needs to be told,” said Avery Smith, a pastor at Shiloh Baptist Church and actor for the films. “We want people for generations to look back at these stories and say wow I've never realized the impact of what these people went through and what they died to give us."

The film is expected to premiere on June 14th for more information you can visit their website, which is listed in the related links tab.
