MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Adults are taking over the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum Thursday for the 15th annual Celebrity Art Auction.
This adult fundraiser will have more than thirty pieces from the community's most unexpected artists, including TV6’s very own Sarah Blakely, who will be there with some edible art.
One-of-a-kind art pieces hand crafted by local celebrities will be auctioned off raise money for the UPCM.
Executive Director Nheena Weyer Ittner said, "Every dollar that we make through this event goes right back into making this place special."
This live auction is the largest fundraiser for the children's museum.
Viewing begins at 5:30 p.m. and the auction starts at 7 p.m. this Thursday, December 6.
Admission is free and the children's museum will have complimentary apps, desserts, and drinks.
