MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Brookridge Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care opened their new $4.5 million expansion of their facility today.
The opening ceremony began with opening remarks and then a ribbon cutting. This new expansion adds 29 rooms in both the assisted living and memory care communities.
It has also added an expanded kitchen, dining room, living space, and secure courtyard.
“Being able to serve more people is a great aspect. In this community there's a definite need,” Executive Director Neal Crothers said. “We're reaching out to those families that really need the assistance.”
With this new addition, they will be able to accommodate more than 100 seniors.
