Benefit Dinner to support cancer treatment

The support of family and friends will help reduce financial stress on the Bonini family.

SOUTH RANGE, Mich. (WLUC) - Citizens of South Range gathered on Saturday to help out a community member in need.

A benefit dinner was held at the Range Lounge. Proceeds from the event are supporting Bob Bonini’s fight against cancer.

Bob has worked in South Range for more than 20 years, and is very active in the community.

More than one hundred basket raffles and silent auction items were donated by local businesses for the event. Members of the community donated items for a bake sale.

The support of family and friends will help reduce financial stress on the Bonini family.

“Right now, it’s something that they really needed, and the community really came together, pulled together. Over 20 volunteers came to help do this benefit, we pulled it together in a pretty short amount of time and it’s going to be fantastic for the family,” said Kristen Archambeau, Event Volunteer.

Anyone interested in contributing to Bob’s fight can send checks to P.O. Box 624 South Range, MI 49963, or by clicking here.
