Bay College signs new pre-robotics engineering articulation agreement with Lake Superior State University

ESCANABA, Mich.(WLUC) - Bay College and Lake Superior State University have signed an articulation agreement for students pursuing an Associate of Science in pre-robotics engineering.

That means students can now spend two years at Bay College earning an Associate’s Degree in pre-robotics engineering followed by two to three years at Lake Superior State to earn a Bachelor's Degree.

Matt Barron, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Bay College says existing agreements between bay college and LSSU include computer, electrical, mechanical, and mechanical engineering.

"This transfer agreement in Robotics Engineering was the logical next step. Geographically speaking bay college has two campuses one in Delta County and one in Dickinson County and so that's right along the what we call the manufacturing corridor of the U.P. and so I think we're perfectly suited to fill that need along with LSSU,” Barron declared.
