IRON RIVER, Mich. (WLUC) - Aspirus Iron River Hospital paired up with Dickinson-Iron District Health Department to host their annual Health Fair on Thursday.
The community was invited to Iron River's Windsor Center to meet with local health professionals.
Each booth offered different learning opportunities to the public. They provided free health screenings and flu shot clinic as well.
It was a way for the public to have a good time while staying healthy said Abby Miller, the Aspirus Marketing Manager.
“We try to find a way to make it fun for people to come, so not only do we have flu shots and other health screenings, we have a farmers market, live music. We have a fitness class going on and gift-shop items. We just wanted to make it a fun one-stop-shop,” she said.
The health fair is always free for the public.
