ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) - The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team says one suspect was questioned and released, but arrests are expected, after a meth lab bust in Ishpeming Thursday.
UPSET says its detectives carried out a search warrant at a home on East North Street in Ishpeming. Detectives from UPSET have been investigating the suspects at the residence for the past several months.
During a search of the home, detectives seized meth product, cash and components used to manufacture meth. Detectives from UPSET removed all hazardous waste from the residence.
Investigators say arrests are expected pending a review from the Marquette County Prosecutor's Office.
No additional information has been released. UPSET says the investigation remains ongoing.
The Ishpeming Police Department and the Marquette Police Department's K-9 unit assisted UPSET at the scene.
