CRYSTAL FALLS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - An Iron County woman was taken to the hospital Wednesday after rolling her vehicle several times on U.S. 2. It happened just before 4 p.m. in Crystal Falls Township near Fire Tower Road.
State police say an Amasa woman, age 27, was traveling east when she crossed the centerline and nearly hit an oncoming vehicle head-on.
Police say, she over corrected, lost control and left the road.
The vehicle rolled over several times, ejecting the driver. She was not wearing a seat belt.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries. Police say, alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
