Aggressive bear reported in Forsyth Township

FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) Forsyth Township Police are urging residents to be on the lookout for a wounded bear.

Thursday night there was a report of a bear acting aggressively in the 3000 block of County Road 456, also known as Little Lake Road.

The bear reportedly came at an individual. Forsyth Township Police say that person fired a shot at the bear.

The shooter believes the animal was struck and ran into the woods. The bear has not been located. You are asked to contact the Michigan DNR if you see any bears in the area.
