ADAMS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - Water will be shut off for all Adams Township water customers beginning at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday so a water main can be repaired.

The township says this also affects customers in Portage Township who get Adams Township water.

The township says water service will be restored as soon as possible.

The City of Hancock says its residents may experience cloudy water or bubbles from their taps as the Adams Township water main is repaired.

The water in Hancock will not be shut off and is coming from the water holding tank. Water is safe and does not need to be boiled.
