MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - One organization that will be participating in Spread Goodness Day will be 40 Below of Marquette County.
Members of 40 Below will be stuffing 100 bags for kids in need within the community. The bags will be filled with birthday party essentials such as cake ingredients, candles, balloons, and a birthday card. The bags will be donated to the Salvation Army of Marquette to distribute to kids in need during their birthdays.
“This event is very much representative of what 40 Below is all about: getting together, having fun, doing something good for our community, and so our members are coming together to stuff the bags on March 9th at the Children's Museum which is very appropriate, and the Children’s Museum is giving day passes for each one of the bags,” said Marina Dupler of 40 Below.
Bagging begins tomorrow and they are still accepting donations. 40 Below asks if you're going to make a donation, to bring a hundred so every bag gets one.
