Hykeisha Martin's first court appearance is scheduled for August 29 at 11 a.m.

Ironwood Public Safety has released the name of the 24-year-old woman arrested on charges relating to the Sunday afternoon fire at the Pine's Cafe.
Hykesha Deshai Martin of Ironwood is being held in the Gogebic County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.
The City of Ironwood Department of Public Safety:
A 24-year-old, female, Ironwood resident was arrested today on charges relating to the Sunday afternoon fire at the Pine’s Café.
Her name is being withheld pending arraignment.
After an investigation led by Fire Marshal Brandon Snyder, Prosecutor Nick Jacobs authorized the following charges;
Count 1: First Degree Arson, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison, $20,000 fine or 3 times the value of the property damaged or destroyed.
Count 2; Arson-Preparation to Burn a Dwelling, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, $15,000 fine or 3 times the value of the property damaged or destroyed, whichever is greater.
Count 3: Animals-Killing/Torturing- Third Degree, which carries a maximum of 4 years in prison and $5,000 fine.
The female is currently lodged at the Gogebic County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.
Ironwood Public Safety Department was assisted on scene by the Hurley Fire Department, Beacon Ambulance, Iron County Sheriff’s Office, Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police-Wakefield, Hurley Police Department and the Red Cross.
