18 minor in possessions handed out Friday night in Gwinn

UPDATE at 11:30 a.m. Monday:

Young people from across Marquette County and Delta County were attending the party and received minor in possession tickets, according to Forsyth Township Police Chief Gordon Warchock.

ORIGINAL STORY:

According to the Marquette County Sheriff's office, 18 minor in possession tickets were handed out late Friday night in Gwinn.

The Forsyth Township Police Department was on scene with assistance.

Both departments will continue to look out for underage drinking throughout graduation weekend as part of their youth alcohol enforcement campaign.

A first minor in possession of alcohol offense is a civil infraction, punishable by a $100 fine.
