17-year-old charged for home invasion in Iron Mountain

IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WLUC) - A Kingsford man who’s accused of breaking into a home and threatening several occupants of the residence was bound over to Dickinson County Circuit Court.

Brandyn Ray, 17, is charged with second degree home invasion and assault with a dangerous weapon. He was arraigned in district court on February 8.

Ray pleaded not guilty to his charges and is set for a pretrial conference on April 4.

The Iron Mountain Police Department was dispatched via 911 to a possible home invasion on February 7. The call came in around 11:43 PM. It was reported that Ray kicked in the door of a residence on the 600 block of East A Street in Iron Mountain.

Ray threatened the occupants of the home with a knife. Ray was subdued by the residents just prior to officers arriving on scene.
