Lily Simmons joined the TV6 team in August of 2020. After working as an anchor and reporter at WBUP for a year, she is excited to work as a Multimedia Journalist for WLUC.
Lily was born and raised in northeast Ohio, where her interest in broadcast journalism blossomed from watching local newscasts. She graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina in 2019. Lily was the student manager of her college radio station for three semesters.
Lily loves meeting new people and is grateful for the opportunity to share their stories. When she isn’t working on a story, she enjoys playing guitar, drawing, and watching 90s sitcoms.
