Colin Jackson was born in Marquette and grew up in L’Anse before moving to Houghton, attending Houghton Public Schools until his graduation in 2016. He attended two years at Gogebic Community College, and transferred to take classes for two more years at Northern Michigan University. He earned his Bachelors in 2020, majoring in History and minoring in English. Having lived in the Upper Peninsula all his life, he is very familiar with the area and loves its vast wilderness. He enjoys swimming, cooking, and writing stories, the latter which helped catch his interest in joining TV6. Colin joined the TV6 team in May 2022 as the Houghton-Hancock Bureau Reporter.
