Springing to mild winter weather towards the weekend
Light snow chances, sunny breaks and above seasonal temps to stretch through Sunday.
Mild winter weather stretches through the weekend in Upper Michigan, as sunny breaks proliferate and snow chances are limited and light in intensity. A Central Plains brings a chance of snow showers late Friday night over the Eastern U.P. Then on Saturday, the southern tier of a Northern Ontario system brushes scattered light snow showers over the region. High pressure builds Sunday for a pleasant end to the weekend.
Late Sunday to Monday, a strong Central Plains system threatens to bring moderate to heavy wet snow for a slippery start to next week in Upper Michigan.
