IRON RIVER, Mich. (WLUC) - “River North Pub and Grill” has openings for cooks, bar-backs and bartenders.

The Genesee Street establishment is back to its normal operating hours -- closing at 2 a.m. CT seven days a week.

As COVID restrictions loosen, River North needs to hire more staff as more customers return.

Owner Mike McCarthy said now’s the time to join the growing workforce in Iron County.

“We needed the government in the past to help us through COVID. Now we need the people, we need the high schoolers (to join the workforce). You just graduated? Then come on out (to join the staff),” McCarthy said, who also serves as mayor of Crystal Falls -- also in Iron County.

“There’s a lot of positions open here in Iron County, ranging from the service industry to more professional careers. There’s a lot of opportunity here,” added Iron County Chamber Director Zach Hautala.

The Iron County Economic Chamber Alliance provides a list of open jobs, including those at River North, which you can find HERE.
