MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Marquette Fringe is looking for community groups or volunteers to help paint displays for its upcoming event during Art Week.

‘Reconnect with Lower Harbor’ will feature seven small stages spread out around the park.

Each stage will have a different theme. Painters have creative freedom but need to stick with the theme.

All painting materials will be provided.

“The overall theme for art week is to reconnect,” says Bradford. “So we thought it’d be a good idea to kind of bring it to the community, help them come together, and start putting in their own time and creativity into each of the stage indicators.”

‘Reconnect with Lower Harbor’ runs from June 23rd-26th.

The stages need to be finished by June 21st for set up.

To volunteer, email participants@mqtfringe.org.
