Partridge Creek Farms holds plant sale at Ishpeming store front
Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and spices were left over from planting the farm’s summer gardens.
ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) - Ishpeming residents had the opportunity to add fresh plants to their gardens Wednesday.
Partridge Creek Farms held a plant sale outside its store front on Main Street.
Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and spices were left over from planting the farm’s summer gardens. The sale was open to all community members from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Rachel Lefor, a Community Care Intern at Partridge Creek Farms, says they plan to keep products and services accessible all summer.
“Starting next week we are just gonna have the store front open, and in here we will still be selling plants. We’ll also have jams, jelly, syrup, we also just have a collection of books in there too so, we just encourage people to stop by whenever,” says Lefor.
The store front hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Lefor says programs such as Volunteer Days are coming up at the end of the month. To stay updated, visit the Partridge Creek Farms website.
