MUNISING, Mich. (WLUC) - Swing by the Miners Falls Mini Golf Course in Munising for fun... and a fundraiser.

All week the course is donating one dollar per round played to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marquette and Alger Counties.

This is part of the Mini Golf Guys’ annual traveling tournament.

For the last twelve years, the trio has been traveling the states to play as much mini golf as possible.

Recently, they’ve made it a point to make their mission charitable.

“Mini golf’s a family game. You know, it’s easy to bond over. It’s a quick event and we tried to find, I guess, an organization that kind of met that. Big Brothers Big Sisters has that, right? It’s coming on the course, playing together for an hour or so, and just having fun.” says Mini Golf Guy Tony Haakenson.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marquette and Alger Counties is in need of bigs. You can find more information about the program here. Or, contact the executive director Jayne Letts at 906-475-7801.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Western Upper Peninsula and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area are in need of volunteers as well.

Being a big only takes 4 hours a month.
