Richardson Jewelers Marquette holds grand re-opening ceremony
New renovations include an Ore Dock mural, new seating area, and new flooring
MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - After weeks of remodeling, a jewelry store in downtown Marquette has a shiny new look.
Richardson Jewelers Marquette held a ribbon cutting ceremony early Thursday afternoon as part of a grand-reopening.
For six weeks, the store had been operating out of the basement while work was being done upstairs. Around 300 square feet was added, as well as an Ore Dock mural, a new seating area, and new flooring.
“Everybody that’s been in here before, saw the Richardson Jewelers before, and then after, they all love it,” said owner Randy Richardson. “People that haven’t been in here before walk in, and everybody’s been really positive about it. It’s very bright, it’s very light, and it’s very attractive.”
Richardson Jewelers Marquette will hold an open house this Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event will have food, live music, and prizes, including a pair of diamond studs valued at $2,500.
