City of Marquette reminds residents, visitors of park hours

The city reminds everyone there is no camping or overnight parking allowed in any city park.

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - City of Marquette park hours in the springtime are shorter than summertime hours.

The City of Marquette’s official park hours currently in effect are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Summer hours will be implemented when staffing is available.

The city reminds everyone there is no camping or overnight parking allowed in any city park.

The back loop of Peter White Drive on Presque Isle Park is open during park hours with the exception of the closure for walking hours.

The back loop is closed to vehicular traffic on the following days and times:

  • Monday & Wednesday: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m
