An active and windy weekend ahead
Our next front comes this weekend. The main hazard will be strong gusty winds on both Saturday and Sunday. Tomorrow will be warmer with gusty southerly winds. So, if you’re trick or treating during the afternoon conditions look good, but make sure your costume is strapped on tightly. Rain showers will begin to move in late in the afternoon across the west and spread east during the evening. Once the front moves through at night snow will develop along northwesterly wind belts and continue through Sunday afternoon. Winds will continue gusting around 40 to 45mph. This could lead to blowing snow, reduced visibility, and large waves. The pattern next week looks drier and warmer with highs gradually climbing into the 50s!
