LAKE GOGEBIC -- A bad snowmobile crash in western Upper Michigan. An Iowa woman was injured and taken to the hospital in Ironwood.

The crash happened Saturday night around 8:30 on Lake Gogebic in Ontonagon County.

The 34-year-old woman was thrown from her snow machine as she was riding across Lake Gogebic.

Her name and condition are not being released at this time.

She was taken to Aspirus Grandview Hospital and then airlifted to Aspirus Wausau in Wisconsin.
