Lake effect snow and accident causing delays on US-2 in Mackinac County

MACKINAC COUNTY -- US-2 near H-33 in Mackinac County is blocked by a semi tractor trailer in the ditch.

Driving conditions in the area are dangerous due to lake effect snow and blowing and drifting. Near white-out conditions are present. Police advise motorists to avoid the area.

Use alternative routes to and from the the Mackinac Bridge. M-123 is open and usable.
