NEGAUNEE -- Students in Negaunee will soon have access to their teacher's favorite books in the library.

The Negaunee Education Association held it's first ever book drive.  Teachers were encouraged to bring in their favorite books to be donated to the library.

A label was placed on the inside cover of each book recognizing the teacher for their contribution.  The donations covered a range of fiction and non fiction and covered every grade level.

"I love paper books.  Being able to hold it, able to turn the pages the art on the book I think it makes it more accessible, more readable, more interesting," said Negaunee Education Association President, Marius Grazulis.

The plan is to make the book drive an annual event.
