As a low pressure system passes directly over the U.P. on Saturday, some widespread flurries should last most of the day, but it will steadily weaken and move north. Friday's Winter Weather Advisories have expired and there should only be two inches or less of fresh accumulation, mainly in the daytime. Temperatures will be mild around 30 degrees with light winds.
Saturday night's lows will only cool down to the upper 10s to low 20s. Skies will remain overcast and a few lingering flurries are likely north.
On Sunday, we should get a reprieve from the snow as a high pressure system moves in. Winds will be light and temperatures will again be mild around 30. Skies should clear up a bit as the day wears on.
By Sunday night, it will only be partly cloudy. Lows will mainly be in the 10s, but as skies clear up a bit and winds decrease, it will be colder inland toward Wisconsin.
For Monday and Tuesday, winds will increase out of the south and highs will reach into the low to mid 30s. No significant snow is likely until Tuesday night into Wednesday where we may see a small winter storm.
