NIAGARA -- A 29-year-old woman was killed in a crash in the town of Niagara, Wisconsin on Tuesday morning.

According to the Marinette County Sheriff's Department, a Jeep hit a bridge abutment on County O at the Pemenee Creek Bridge at around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A 29-year-old woman passenger was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries. A 23-year-old man driving the vehicle and another male passenger, 21, were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Names of the people involved in the crash are not being released at this time.

The sheriff's department believes that speed too fast for snow covered roads and no seat belt usage are factors in the crash.
