SENEY -- State Police say slippery roads were a factor in a fatal accident on the Seney Stretch Wednesday.  Police say the driver of a passenger car, identified as 39-year-old Eric Mason, lost control and slid into the path of a semi on M-28.

The accident happened just west of the Seney rest area around 4:00 p.m. Mason was killed in the crash.

There is no word yet of any other injuries.  State Police were still on the scene late Wednesday evening investigating.

Funeral arrangements for Eric Mason have been released:

Visitation - Wednesday Feb. 6th from 4-6pm EST at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1700 Fair Ave., Marquette, MI.  49855 

Funeral - Wednesday Feb. 6th at 6pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church

A Memorial Fund has been set up for the family in Eric’s name at Northern Michigan State Bank 1001 M-28 east, suite 10, Marquette, MI.  49855
