GLADSTONE -- A seven million dollar project to renovate Gladstone Schools is moving along with the second of three phases nearly complete.

Kindergartners will be able to transition into the new wing at Cameron in February.  Officials previously anticipated moving students at the end of the school year.

It's a much-needed facelift, and an open house will be held at the school on February 11.  Tours of the facility will be given.

"This was absolutely essential.  What a relief to be able to address some of these real longstanding needs that have been on our three to five year plan for 10 to 12 years," said Gladstone Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jay Kulbertis.

Phase three, upgrading classrooms at Cameron and renovating the entrance to Cameron and Jones, is expected to start this summer.
