Police locate missing woman

IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Iron Mountain Police Department received a call at about 3 a.m. Thursday morning about an 88-year-old woman, suffering from dementia, who was missing.

Law enforcement later located her in a wooded area off of South Grant Street in Iron Mountain at 3:40 a.m..

The woman was transported to Dickinson County Hospital for non-life threatening injuries and possible hypothermia.

Kingsford Public Safety and the Dickinson County Sheriff's Department assisted in the search.
