Cause of fatal fire determined

MARQUETTE TWP. -- The Michigan State Police said Tuesday morning that the cause of the fatal residential fire in Marquette Township on November 29 has been determined as accidental. The blaze originated in the kitchen area of the mobile home.

The victim was identified as 37-year-old Amy Cook.

The cause of death is pending toxicology results and the final report from the Marquette County Examiner. There were no signs of foul play discovered during the investigation.
