Meth bust in Ishpeming lands three in jail

ISHPEMING -- Three people are in jail after a meth bust in Ishpeming on Monday.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team made the arrests after an investigation led them to an address on 7th Street.

The three suspects, a 32-year-old male, a 46-year-old male, and a 32-year-old female were arrested at the scene and were lodged at the Marquette County Jail pending arraignment on charges relating to possession of meth components and conspiracy to manufacture meth. Their names will not be released until after arraignment.

UPSET team members collected all hazardous components found at the scene. Officers from the Ishpeming Police Department and deputies from the Marquette County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
