Latest news, weather, high school sports for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

UPPER PENINSULA -- According to reports some sections of Upper Peninsula roadways have icy spots.

The Michigan State Police urge motorists to use caution when driving this morning, especially when driving on overpasses and bridges. 

Friday calls for morning snow and rain showers should diminish over eastern sections.  Look for mostly sunny skies west, with gradual clearing in the east as high pressure builds across the Great Lakes.
