Severe Thunderstorms southern & eastern U.P.

Thunderstorms that developed over the central U.P. earlier this afternoon became strong to severe over the southern and eastern U.P. Trees were reported down around Munising and at Cornell northwest of Gladstone. The storms will continue to the east and south during the next couple of hours. The thunderstorms are forecast to diminish by evening as the sun goes down and the front weakens.
