Latest news, weather, high school sports for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

The low to the west will continue to struggle slowly eastward. That means generally cloudy skies with some shower activity. Highs will range from the 40s near Lake Superior to near 70 along the Wisconsin line from near Iron River to about Iron Mountain. Most locations will have highs in the 60-degree range into the 60s. Good chance of areas of rain with some fog north...it will be cooler in most locations with lows in the 40s to near 50

The low pressure system will continue to weaken as it slips to the south of Upper Michigan. There is still a chance of some rain, with the best chance over southern and eastern portions. It will be cooler most areas with brisk northeasterly to northerly winds. Highs will be in the 40s to around 50 north and 50s to near 60 south.

Look for mostly sunny skies north and increasing sunshine south and east. It will be breezy and cool with highs in the 40s to aruond 50 north near Lake Superior to mainly in the 50s elsewhere.
