NORWAY -- The Norway Area Preservation Society (NAPS) is having their second country barn dance Saturday evening at 6 p.m. central time.

The event, held at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds, is an old fashioned barn dance with live music from a U.P. band called Whitewater.

Organizers say last year they had a positive turnout and are encouraging others to attend and purchase the limited amount of tickets still available.

"They're $25 for adults, and children 12 and under, they're $10, and that includes the dinner, the catered dinner, the concert, and then the dance as well.," said Doug Straka, a NAPS member.

Others may also come after dinner at 7 p.m. for the dance for a cost of $15.

All proceeds made will go to the Norway Area Preservation Society.
