Do you think you can be a football official in the up? Do you think you can make the right call on the football field? The Upper Peninsula Officials Association has posted a quiz that you, the fans can participate in to see if you would make the right call on Friday nights.

You can take the test by clicking the link below, just enter your name or any fake name and it will let you into the test, grade it for you, and tell you the right answers.  There is a little promo after the test with our website and the mhsaa website where people can go if they are interested in learning more about officiating.

The officiating population of the UP isn't getting any younger and we are always looking for new members.  Having played the sport helps but isn't absolutely requisite.  A positive attitude and willingness to learn can often overcome a lack of experience.  Our local association helps with training new officials and also can help a new officiating get started with getting games, working with other officials, networking, etc.  We sponsor football, basketball, and volleyball and are the only MHSAA approved association in those sports in the Upper Peninsula.
