EBEN JUNCTION -- The girls basketball teams from Bark River Harris and Superior Central were tied at number one after this weeks most recent Upper Peninsula Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association Class D poll.

The teams met Friday night in Eben to decide who the best would be and it was no contest. The Cougars coughed up 36 turnovers and Bark River Harris ran away with a 67-49 victory.

The Broncos were led by Sarah Madalinski's 25 points and Jamie Madalinski's 24 points. Superior Central got 14 points from Brooke Pasanen and 13 points from Vanessa Freberg.
