Finlandia University Men's Basketball guard Anthony Grandberry has been named the Association of Division III Independents Men's Basketball Player of the Week for December 12-18.

Grandberry led the Lions to a 2-0 record on the week, averaging 21.5 points, 4.5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game. 

The highlight of his week was a 37-point performance on 14-of-19 (73.7%) shooting from the floor in a 104-87 win over Presentation College.

Grandberry shot nearly 61-percent from the floor for the week.

Grandberry hasn't slowed down.  He scored 28 points and grabbed six rebounds Monday night in a 105-97 loss to Olivet College.

Finlandia had one more game before Christmas break, losing Wednesday night to Alma College, 103-94.  Grandberry scored 14 points.  Keith Arnold led the Lions with 21 points.
