NORWAY, MI -- Norway High School Football Coach Brad Grayvold has resigned after 13 seasons with the Knights.

Grayvold told TV6 Thursday afternoon he believes this is the right time to do it because his son Brady is playing football at Northern Michigan University, and his daughter Bailey will be a senior next year with the Knights.

Under Grayvold's leadership, Norway reached the football playoffs 9 time in 13 seasons, including two semifinal appearances.

The Knights also won three Mid Peninsula Conference titles in that time.

Grayvold still plans to work in radio in the Dickinson County area.
