The 6-foot-5, 200-pound goaltender currently ranks sixth in the CCHA in GAA (2.13) and is tied for third in the league in save percentage (.925).

Special mention for the Gongshow Goaltender of the Month honors goes to Michigan senior Shawn Hunwick, Michigan State senior Drew Palmisano, Ohio State senior Cal Heeter and Western Michigan freshman Frank Slubowski.
