Kingsford's Gravel invited to World Junior Hockey Camp

Former Kingsford hockey player Kevin Gravel, now playing for Saint Cloud State, has been named to a preliminary roster for the 2012 U.S. National Junior team that will play at the 2012 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.

Gravel is one of 29 players on the preliminary list for the games that will take place December 26 through January 5 in Edmonton and Calgary.

Team USA's pre-tournament camp is December 17 in Canmore, Alberta.

Gravel is one of ten defensemen invited to the camp, along with the University of Michigan's Jon Merrill.

The roster will be announced December 22.
