Michigan Tech head women’s basketball coach Kim Cameron announced that two players have recently signed National Letters of Intent. Mackenzie Perttu and Kylie Moxley will both join the team next season.

Kenzie Perttu is a versatile and athletic player who averaged 22 points per game last season at Green Bay Preble. She is a three-time All-Fox River Classic Conference selection and was named the conference player of the year last season. Perttu also competed in volleyball and softball for Hornets and is a member of Link Crew and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

"Mackenzie is a highly developed player with a great basketball IQ," said head coach Kim Cameron.

"She can get to the basket, shoot from long range, or find a way to get a teammate the ball.

Defensively she is improving everyday and wants to be the one to get steps. Her competitive attitude and desire to be the best will be a great addition."

Kylie Moxley is an athletic post player who has range when it comes it shooting. She was a two-time All-Olympia Conference selection and an all-state honorable mention honoree at Brillion (Wis.) High School. Last season she averaged 14.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Kylie also earned all-conference accolades in both volleyball and softball and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Varsity Club.

"Kylie is a strong player who can run the floor well," said Cameron. "She has great touch around the basket and knows how to use her body to score. Since I have been here we haven’t had a post player with her combination of power and athleticism."
