LSSU's Joseph grabs GLIAC Womens Player of the Week

BAY CITY -- Senior guard Emily Joseph averaged 26.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game to lead LSSU to two road wins, including a 79-72 overtime victory at No. 11 Grand Valley State.

Joseph protected the Lakers’ lead with a key three-pointer with 1:40 remaining to make it 63-57 and a jumper with 42 seconds remaining for a 65-62 LSSU lead.

Joseph has scored 20 or more points during five of the Lakers’ last six games, including a season-high 28 against Ferris State.
