MARQUETTE -- The NMU Women's Swimming and Diving team held its last home meet over the weekend against the University of  Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Wildcat diver Kelli Vander Baan had a perfect day winning the 1 meter and 3 meter events.  Her winning scores were good enough to qualify for the NCAA Nationals.

The Wildcats won 11 of the 13 events.

Lauren Cockels started the Wildcats in the 200 yard medley relay, with Oshkosh swimmers surrounding her.  She provided the early pace on the backstroke, and Kelsey Sipple wrapped up the event on the freestyle for the win.

New head coach Heidi Voigt was pleased with her team's 145-97 victory.

The Wildcats are idle until December 4 when they compete at the Calvin Invitational.
