Northern Michigan University volleyball coach Dominic Yoder announced the signing of Megan Crane from Beach Park, Ill. to a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period.

Crane, a 5-foot-10 left side hitter, lettered four times at Zion-Benton Township High School. She was an all-conference selection as a senior and two-time all-conference honorable mention as well as a two-time all-academic selection.

“Megan brings a level of familiarity to the program, being a relative of Kalli Herron,” said Yoder. “She knows what to expect and she’s 100 percent on board to do the work that it’s going to take to be a successful Wildcat.”

Crane played club for Wisconsin Juniors where her team was 105-9 in seven seasons, finishing in the top 10 at the AAU Nationals twice.
