NEGAUNEE -- Boys high school basketball season is underway which gives us just enough time to sneak in the names of those who are on the TV6 Boys Basketball Preseason Dream Team.

From the eastern U.P., Sault Ste. Marie Guard Steven Angeli.  The Blue Devils had a successful season thanks to him, 13.5 points, seven assists and four rebounds per game.

Number 21 Brett Branstrom is pretending to be a point guard here, but he's the big man for Mid Peninsula, 17.5 points and 13.2 rebounds, plus nearly seven blocks on average for the Wolverines.

Great Northern Conference Player of the Year, Jeff Gregory of Kingsford, returns.  He waveraged eighteen points and seven rebounds for the Flivvers a year ago.

Ewen-Trout Creek's number 12, Jordan LaPlant, also averaged a double-double for the Panthers, 20.3 points and 11.5 rebounds, along with 5.3 assists.

And last on our list alphabetically, Kenya Oas is an exciting player to watch.  Oas averaged nearly 20 points per contest along with 6.5 rebounds and more than 4 steals and assists per game for the Munising Mustangs.
